Matabeleland North

Matabeleland North is home to two of Zimbabwe's biggest outdoor travel drawcards — Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park — as well as quieter camp areas around Binga and the southern shore of Lake Kariba. Budget accommodation ranges from backpacker lodges in Victoria Falls town to cheap guesthouses in Hwange, Binga and Lupane. Travellers using the falls as a base often combine the trip with a few nights at one of the more remote camp sites further north.
