Matabeleland South
Matabeleland South stretches from the Matobo Hills south to the Beitbridge border post and is one of the lesser-visited provinces in Zimbabwe for budget travel. The Matobo Hills — a UNESCO site — are the main outdoor draw, with several camp sites and cheap rural guesthouses scattered through the granite kopjes. Gwanda and Beitbridge provide basic accommodation for travellers crossing into South Africa, and there is good budget farm-stay country around West Nicholson. The districts below list every listed place to stay in Matabeleland South.
